The Reykjavík Culture Pass offers great value for money and gives you access to some of the city’s most significant and historic cultural attractions. The card, which is valid for one year, gives free entry to the following museums: The Reykjavík Art Museum (Hafnarhús, Kjarvalsstaðir and Ásmundarsafn) and The Reykjavik City Museum (Árbær Open Air Museum and the Settlement Exhibition). The pass also entitles you to a City Library Card worth 1,700 ISK.
Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, the pass grants access to all related museum shows and events and gives the holder a 10% discount at museum restaurants, cafés, at museum souvenir shops and on the ferry service to Viðey Island.
There are many discounts available to holders of the Reykjavík Culture Pass including a 25% discount on cinema tickets at Bíó Paradís and a 15 % discount off the menu at Mar restaurant.
With the price of the Reykjavík City Pass kept to the bare minimum of only 5,500 ISK, you can connect with Reykjavík’s rich and vibrant culture scene as often as you like for less.
Note. Library cards and access to the museums are free for children (18 and under) and senior citizens.
